Inflatable - paddling/splasher pools that have a top ring that is inflated for very quick assembly. Generally no bigger than 15' diameter with heaters & filter pumps avaialble.
Metal framed - super tough side walls are triple strong, made with 3 separate layers of material with metal legs to support the sides.
Rigid - heavy duty galvanised steel panels, finished in a range of attractive and harmonising colours, are created to form the outer wall and inside this is fitted a heavy duty vinyl liner to contain the water.

Of course many of the rigid above ground pools can be put inground for a quick alternative to a pool kit.
